Hmm. If only the person showed us how the phone operated when powered on then it'll sort of confirm the fact that this is the actual design. It just seems weird that Apple has their products leaked. But if it is real, it looks pretty sweet. I'd want one but I woulnd't want to replace my blackberry for anything in the world
yesss just read this this morning on gizmodo! http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone It's the real thing; it was lost and reported as such by Apple! It was remotely disabled by Apple, showed up as an iPhone when connected to itunes, etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must be some sorts of advertising. Leaking of new designs always brings attention even from people who don't actually buy the products. :yup: Looks good btw <3
It looks awesome, I wouldn't buy it personally, but that's because I like my HTC. But to me it seems like an advertising scheme possibly? If apple were to say something is leaked, alot of people will look at it just to see it =D
iPhone is going to need to bring someone new to the table that I can't already do with a computer because I don't need that thing to talk to someone.
That is a pretty raw deal for losing something...buuuut I guess it had to be done... pretty sweet phone, but it would have to be pretty amazing for me to switch from my bberry...I <3 it
Just heard à rumor that It Will come out in june for sure.. AT&T workers aren't allowed to go On vacation then 0-0
they'll probably change it up before it actually comes out looks a little to boxy for me, hopefully they smoothen the edges out but nonetheless I'm still excited
just found this article about apple workers and the new iphone testing. Spoiler In the wake of this week's leak of the next-generation iPhone after an employee left the device in Redwood City, California bar, much has been made of Apple's tight security standards regarding its unreleased products. One tidbit of note shared by Bloomberg today is that the list of Apple personnel authorized to carry pre-release products like the iPhone in question is personally overseen by Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs personally monitors the so-called carry list of staff members allowed to take pre-release devices off the companys campus, according to the former employee. Approved staff members must sign an additional confidentiality agreement, the person said. Industry observers suggest that Apple may tighten its security due to this incident, further restricting access to high-level executives. The iPhone has proved to be a unique challenge for Apple's security, as the need for it to interface with cellular networks across the country demands that it be subjected to field testing in a variety of locations and settings. Prior to the launch of the original iPhone in 2007, a team of 200 AT&T technicians supplementing Apple's own team had access to the device in order to put it through its paces and ensure that the cellular network was ready to handle the device. The iPhone itself had, however, been introduced in January of that year, and thus its design and features were well-known, limiting the risk of putting it into the hands of others. direct link http://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/21...e-iphones-personally-monitored-by-steve-jobs/
I cant believe he paid 5k for it just to return it back to apple. I wonder if the guy who left it at the bar was fired.
I bet he got fired, seriously. it's a big responsibility carrying something that is worth actually millions ( considering it was leaked to the concurrention)
