Bleh, this was before I decided to boarder it :S All of it is made by me except the font (too hax to make). I still feel really awkward about the white space, as well as the bordering I put on for the sig. Anyone got any other ideas for a border? Also, for some reason the borders for my sig are really jagged...anyone got any suggestions on how to eliminate that? Q_Q (p.s. Yes I realize that the eye doesn't have enough depth...I only took an hour or so to make this, plus I'll work on it later...maybe)
This is pretty good if you had no previous render/stock to edit/work from. The hair and eye especially have really good detail for being hand drawn. The white space does need something done with it, though...as that takes up about 1/2 the image. Also, the border is rather bad as you mentioned....maybe take out the outer dark blue part that has the weird corners. What program did you use, though?? I'm sure there are a lot of photoshop, psp, gimp, etc. tutorials for borders and whatnot. I would say 7/10...very good for being drawn from scratch.
Used photoshop CS4, and I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the messy dark frame and still have the edges cut off ._. I've been to a lot of photoshop tutorial sites in hopes of finding a solution, but most of it has to do with square corners >.< I considered doing a textural background, but I'm super lazy atm >_>. Dx this is my 2nd time using a tablet, and probably my 4th time using photoshop to draw.
It's really cute Winged ^-^ And you should feel awkward about the white space. Did you remember to save the .psd before merging the layers? If so, I can easily FTFY.
:S I have the psd but its awkward cuz I only have 3 layers (picture, background, text), can you still work from that?
I love the eyes and hair, but there is a huge white gap. And look around for a tutorial on how to do curves. I'm unfamiliar with PS CS, so i can't help you there. Otherwise, really good. I'm also a fan of all the blues. x) i like blue.
I don't use these programs, so I can't really help me you. Although, I find it pretty amazing in general. Congrats. I wish I could make my own signatures too.
