And my current sig. About this one above, I decided to give a try at improving my font quality in signatures. Hopefully by the time you looked at it you've not bleed a half of your body's blood from your eyes. Honestly, I think overall it's quite ok. And about my current signature. Well, I like it but probably that's because I spent an hour doing that. Comment to your heart's content.
Personally I would have moved the text a pixel or two over to the left, and about four pixels down. I'm a bit OCD. Anyways, love the effects and everything, love the contrast, the muted tones, the colors, everything about it. The only thing I don't like is that the face is too dark in shadow and therefore the focal point becomes the ear, which is highlighted in white and grabs the attention. More contrast on the face would be better, though I see why you made it lie that: it's positioned on the outside of the white part, so it's sort of fading into black. 8.5/10. Love the details on the left side.
I was wondering about your new sig. Your current sig is awesome though on the other on, the text could be a bit smother, and as phee said, moved over a bit. But all in all still amazing. Make us another tutorial
Its pretty decent, the only thing that i've noticed that is you use alot of pre-made tech brushes.. and i'm not GREATLY found of the text but it's not too bad.
Yea indeed... I won't be using the same brushes over and over again. I'll have more than 600 brush packs + c4ds + new fonts for future work, everything organized. It's just I've been away for a long time and I have little to none stuff. Plus, I've been reading about text on signatures so hopefully the next ones will be better. I'm afraid I'll have a long way to go before I can do one again. I'm slaving myself up about doing better stuff atm though, and since spring break isn't over already, who knows.
