I believe DeMeco Ryans of Houston should be the frontrunner of the award. He is one of the reasons why the Texans were able to win 2.5 more games so far w/ a record of 5-10 this year.
but devin hester broke the record for punt and kick returns for touchdowns in a single season as a rookie..thats amazing you have to give it to him . . . its something someone else has never done before
Yes he did, I have to give him that but did it really affect the Bears' season. He returned 3 PR for TD's but did any of those TD's win the Bears' games. I don't think so. He contributed a lot but I don't think that's the reason why the Bears were successful. Vince Young on the other hand single handily beat the Giants that one game.
but thats only one game he did good in..he was pretty much garbage if u look at his stats from the other games
For a rookie, I think Young looked impressive. No doubt that Maurice-Drew should be in that category too.
well vince young should definitely not win it he had a few good plays that made him look good..big deal he's a running back playin qb cause he has an okay arm
Big deal is that Hester is a DB which means his position should be CB not PR...PR shouldn't win rookie of the year in my opinion
yeah jones drew is pretty good too so he has a good chance..but only if his team makes playoffs he'll get it
Another good one to add is Marques Colston (sp?). He's that good WR for the Saints. He has over 1000 receiving yards in his first year.
