I like doing manipulations of photos (as you can probably tell). I have also created my first siggy, which is very basic and is below. But am still getting used to paint.net. So, how am I doing? Am I off to a good start and what could I do to improve myself?

If those are your first, that's a pretty good try :)
I just advise you to keep the concept of 'reality' while manipulating. For example: Let's say you want to manipulate a flower. You should avoid distorting it to the maximum so that it looks clearly edited, instead, you should try adding something special, but not out of reality, something possible.
I like the originality and colors of your manips ^^

Thank you. I now feel inspired to try some more out! So, when I get some spare moments!

I know I need to try and improve my siggys more, so I shall probably try and concentrate on some of those.

Yeah, those are really good for a first! I can see a lot of potential here :D I'm also into graphics so I should know =) The next ones just get better and better! Especially when new artists have plenty of inspirations and ideas to use for their work.

Why don't you get Adobe Photoshop? It's the best around. You don't even have to pay a single penny for it. There are several ways you can download it online for free *wink*

That is what I used for the top four photos. I had a free trial version on my computer. But the other ones were done with paint.net. (i.e. the globe thing and the others below it).
