Some of you might remember me because I used to come to this site a lot when I was still playing neopets.
Anyways, I had this premium account (charged on my dad's credit card) which got frozen after TNT caught me using an ABer or some other program.
I was getting bored with neopets anyway and wanted to focus more on school so I quit Neopets for almost a year or so. But.........
Today I found out that Neopets has kept charging my dad's card every month for almost a year even after they froze me!
I would have never known about this if he didn't mention it to me this morning. (He thought I was still playing neopets premium so he didn't say anything)

    WTF?
They could have even kept charging for YEARS if my dad never asked me about it. That's a lot of money, if you ask me.

The bottom line is : Can I do something about this? , like get my money back or get some responsibility from them? I can't believe something unprofessional like this could happen. It's like stealing. Ugh.

    That's... nasty :D

But they don't keep the frozen count when they freeze someone because the bots are freezing you not the people who registered you in their database.

You shouldn't make off-topics like this. Also i didn't respond because that wasn't the current answer and i took it from someone else. :p

I have a friend on neo who used to have premium and he had an issue, and was treated so poorly by the customer support people that he canceld his service and will never support premium agian. Im not sure how great the customer servie is, or if you will get much help from them but it is absolutely worth a try at least. Neo is all about money these days... not about their users. Im sure they will fight to keep the money they got from you, but best of luck dealing with them, and I hope you can get your money back.

Found a neat little guide on neopets premium and this is what it says about getting frozen:

    Doesn't sound good for you.

The same thing happened to me. I called the customer support line or whatever, but they said that nothing could be done, so I just called my credit card company, and they reversed the charges. I mean who do they think they are? I don't care if it's in the terms and conditions, that's basically stealing. Just have your dad call and make a claim to have the charges reversed.

You can't sue someone when you're the one who initially broke the contract. Well you can, but you'll probably just end up paying their fees for the trial.

Beter idea would be to ask them why they do this. The only points is the scam people off money, if they say that it is an automated sytem then ask them why can't they check. Really it wouldn't take more than a day for them to figure out how to tell the premium billing service who got frozen. If they were different parts of the sever, then have an email set up to recive any new frozen accounts and automatically check for priemum or not an dif it is cancel the service. The trial may raise up some eyes on teh buisness practices then. Just see what they do if you threaten to report this to someone. You will never know what will happen

Nope, your screwed. Happened to me last week. They froze your Neopets account not your premium account. Your premium account is the XXXXX@neopets.com email thing.

You can't sue. They only freeze your Neopets.com account they never freeze your Premium account which is basically your portal/email. If you read up on the topic you would realize that they are in the right, just very sneaky about it. I realized I was still being charged just last week and believe me I tried it all. All they will do is cancel your subscription, they will not refund you because it is actually not their fault. I know it sucks, so much money wasted.

Well, after about 3 days I received a reply from them today. A pretty useless one.

That was all there was in the e-mail. They didn't even care to mention, or answer to any other matters that I wrote in my e-mail to them. I will cancel the subscription and quit neopets for good this time.

I can't believe neopets has sinked so low. It truly used to be a wonderful place.
