I'm not one of the guys who read the comic books, so I liked it. I hear it didn't actually reflect much of the comic books/graphic novel. True? But that girl who played Silk Spectre II was such a bad actor. And I would have liked to see more of Rorschach's life .. like that scene with the little girl. That was awesome. He is awesome.
I liked it too. I am a nerd of comics books and stuff, with Trading Card games and things that only children do so it's normal
shame i havent seen it yet the advertisment to it looks good but a friend of mine says its a waste of time watching it well i gues i will see when i finally get my hands on it
i thought it was alright... i never read the comics before, but most comic book movies rarely reflect the comics
I liked the previews, will go someday to see it. It scares me though that the movie is 3 hours long. That's way too long!
I haven't seen the movie but I was a fan of the graphic novel. I was working at a gas station back when I read it and I made myself a nametag that said "Ozymandias"... got a lot of attention.
rorschach was epic... my two favorite scenes were when he was telling his joke...lul... and the ending scene where he dies
I agree his character was probably the most interesting and developed in the movie especially Spoiler when he dies at the end. One would expect him to just garee with everyone else but the fact that he hung on to his morals even further improved on his character developement. Whoever thought up his character is epic as well...
Personally, I thought the movie was a bit underwhelming. Having read the comic book myself already, I felt that there were literally no changes to the plot... thus I was reduced to knowing what was going to happen next, as the movie was exactly like the comic book. That, and the trailers and the movie, I found, had nothing to do with each other.
Didn't like it one bit. Unecessarily violent and racey where it just wasn't necessary, disjointed plot with pacing problems, writing was awful (even though I'm aware that, being based on a graphic novel, it was supposed to be somewhat cheesy) and the acting was underwhelming. Then there's the issue of the giant blue penis appearing on the screen every thirty seconds. Okay, I get it, he's naked and blue, therefor he will have a blue penis. It is entirely unecessary to overdo it as much as the movie did. It was so painfully obvious that it went out of its way to use particular camera angles, including in scenes that would have benefited far more from other camera angles, just to keep the guy's dick in the shot. It was absurd.
you could have not said that better i do say but yes i totally agree the movie all in all was just crap it was way to long for no action at all half the movie dragged into nothing.
But these are traits of a film that make it fantastic! If every film wasn't unnecessarily violent at points, nothing would be interesting
even though the fight scenes were kinda cool, i thought the movie sucked. idk, i heard it was better for those that actually read the comics.
Quite the opposite, actually. Those who read the comics thought that the movie was an exact replica of the comic - which I guess is what it's supposed to be, but led to the loss of the "surprise" factor for those watching the movie.
