    I seem to have a problem with photoshop's 'overlay' See, I'm supposed to do a --- colour background...and make a new layer, brush some --- on it, then overlay with ---%.. Every sig tut with overlay, I seem to get stuck there...can anyone help? xD

    Your problem is that you don't know how to do 'overlay' ?

    It's a layer style (I don't remember exactly what it's called because I've been away from making graphics for a while) located on the 'layer' palette.
    It's in the pull-down menu, next to the opacity thingy, that says 'normal'. Just click on that and choose where it says 'overlay'.

    I hope that was what you were asking about.

    I mean... For example, my background is green... when i brush on a new layer, and 'overlay' it, the whole thing goes white..

    hmmm... I dunno. Perhaps if you let me see the tutorial you're using I could probably help you out :D

    Here.. http://www.neofriends.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10743.. When i finish the background, brush on another layer, sharpen and fade, followed by overlay with the opacity 20%, the whole thing goes white.. every siggy tut which has overlay seems to be like this..xDD
