Paypal information needed

Hey guys, I've been meaning to finally start selling some artworks online, but before I get stuck in some sort of situation, can anyone tell me for sure if I'm able to create a paypal account without any bank or credit/debit card attached whatsoever, recieve money from other paypal users that have commissioned me, and spend it on NC mall for instance?

No you would not. You need a credit/debit card.

 

I believe you are perfectly welcome to create the account. But you cannot send (gifting or spend) money until you verify your account with a card or bank account. If I am not mistaken, you could just purchase a gift card debit card (prepaid $25 or more) and link that to the paypal account and spend it. But I could be wrong. My paypal account worked that way when I made it.

 

It is possible. In order to send money without a spending limit of $0, it has to be a non US-based account. I've tried creating both US-based and non US-based accounts, and the US-based one required me to link a credit card / bank account to it before it lifted my spending limit of $0. With a non US-based account, I didn't need a credit card / bank account attached to it, and my spending limit was a total of $1600 - more than enough to send whatever you need to send. That's how I got AU.

And if you ever reach that limit, just create another non US-based account and send the money over, then you can restart

However, note that you can't use the gift option on a non US-based account. Correct me if I'm wrong o.o

Ok, I created an european account, didn't link any card or bank whatsoever, it doesn't have any money in it, and when I click the limits url, here's what shows:



So can I still recieve money from other paypal users and use that money to buy NC?
