I guess this is where I would post this. Anyways, if I set up a paypal account without a credit card, what would I be able to do? Send money? Receive money? Anything else?
I was wondering the same thing a few months ago, you can ONLY receive money untill you "verify" the account with a credit card or bank account. You can get a gift card credit-card (like those Visa ones, http://usa.visa.com/personal/cards/prep ... d_how.html) and verify your account with that I think and use your PayPal balance to purchase items, but I am not sure.
when i used to do online poker those visa gift cards worked like magic, just make sure you can use them for online when you buy them (i don't think greendot works, but that might just be for poker.) the one thing is to make sure you activate the card with the same exact stuff as the paypal account, because otherwise it won't work (kinda obvious) note: i haven't done that for paypal though, but i have no reason to think it shouldn't work
You can set up a paypal with either a credit card OR add a bank account if you have one. I vote for the bank account, they're easier to get. You'll have to wait a few days and verify your bank account with PayPal, but then you can send and receive funds via EFT.
If you make an account using the country "Australia" for example you can spend like 3000$ before verifing it. I do this way
Before verifying your PayPal account or your bank account? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you spend any money without verifying that the bank account is actually yours.
you can store money on the paypal and just use it on sites, but wont be able to physical get the money if u jsut wanted it
