Pet Adopter

Since the pound is up could someone code a pet grabber? You know if someone is going to pound a nice pet and you want it, just turn it on, enter the pets name and as soon as it hits the pound the program buys it?

 

Maybe not the name of a pet but like any rare pet, I second this it would be sweet!

 

Yeah that too, good idea. Or any pet with a certain set of stats or something.
Or just a LE pet.

 

how about you just select its species and it gives you the best choices?

 

If someone is putting a pet in the pound I don't think we're gonna have all the time to spare to choose the best one...it's gotta be an automatic thing. Once it is pounded, the program snatches it.

 

I really like this idea. I missed on one Maraquan Gelert and Pink Lenny today.

 

I'd definitely be interested in a program like this. I like having swanky pets (for the BC,) so I'd definitely use it a lot. Plus, it couldn't hurt to inject some life into the pet blackmarket.

 

Definately we need a Pet Adopter with latest options and some nice GUI too but I want to talk about an issue here.

Why don't we stimulate programmers to do their job more often with points for buying or anything like it? I wanted a long ago when I first came here to be a programmer but found it that it was so hard, my brain went with the Zeppelin in Orgrimmar.

Back on topic:
Some options I will like to see,
- several refresh modes
- advanced filtering (option in search)
- avatar pets/petpets alerter

 

Probably because most of the programmers here quickly rise to Level 3 or above status (as in, they don't need points to buy any programs.) I think making a NP pool to bribe a programmer isn't such a bad idea, though. I'd pitch in, for sure.

yh, what would be cool is if it had an option like, once u search for a certain color, it adopts it, (or species)

Did they search for species/colur combos or did it require a name first?

I think they used to have one like that here but it was removed.

 

Is there anyone whos even figured out the QAL? I haven't seen anyone with one for the new pound, and you'd kind of need it for the AA to work.

 

There isnt a QAL.

 

then is it possible to program a AA?

 

Well I guess I could try make one but I dont know if it would be effective.
