... is the name of my newest work and also my very first spacescape :tehe: Big image is big Comments please ^^
Not really. I was just experimenting some noise effects and found out some interesting ways of creating a starfield, allied with a galaxy brush set I have. Then I followed a tutorial on how to create the atmosphere of the planets. It took me about 2 hours. It lacks some definition though, some stars look like plain pixels but I guess the rest doesn't look that bad for a first time, I quite like it
well... what should i say... this is awesomely done and i think that it has quite much a nice round globe in the space it makes me wonder what else you are going to show us in close future
Very nice! But it's obvious that it's the same image, resized, to make the planets. Try making new ones for each, or just rotating/flipping/turning them so it's not so blatant.
Beautiful. I really like this one. You really know how to handle composition. Only problem is resolution, if that's the biggest you have then you might want to try having a higher res for more details and everything. Try to have it around 200 to 300 for res.
Yay, more people into space art woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot-ooot. For your first, its very nice. I haven't made one in months so I don't know if I should say anything, but here goes: It's very monotone. Space is actually very multi-colored. Keep that in mind for the next one. It could be bigger and the lighting on each planet (which I noticed is the same) is wrong in some places. It's very good for your first though. I'll comment on DA =]
Yea, I admit I can't still handle the color balance layers well, so that's why it turned out so monotone ^^' I've been practising with those layers with sigs and I think I'm getting better so next time it'll probably come out more colorish =) About the lightning of the planets, well, when I started making the whole spacescape I was thinking about adding the light source on another direction, but then I changed it all while making it and messed up the outer glow layer of the planets x| Oh and thanks for your comment on DA, I commented back =)
What programme did you use. It looks great 2h seems like a short time to make such a great image. I agree that the planet looks resized although i had to take a second look to realize it. Try reducing the amount of spots as it looks abit crowded with the spots.
