What's everyone's plans for New Years Eve this year, and what do yu normally do? I normally have a group of friends over, but I recently moved so I'll probably be home alone this year >.<
Oh wow I didn't even think about how crappy this new years is going to be. I have a group of 4 good high school friends (5 of us in all). We're all at different places this year because of starting university. A few months ago, I decided to plan us a new years trip to Montreal. So we booked the mofo. Nice hotel, drinking age of 18 that we could all drink with. But oh hey. I had surgery 2 weeks ago. And then more surgery a few days ago. So I can't go. Yay life, right! T.T
What we've done for the past 6 years, is me and me highschool friends go out to the city. We first go bowling, then pool, then a movie, then poker, then we walk to a nice spot on the grass where there's a great view for fireworks and then we talk. Or play more poker.
hit up as much clubs as i can and drink as much as i can with my homeboys lol... i save up about a grand a year just for new years partying
that's the way to do it...spend your xmas cash on new years. or if u dont have xmas cash..return all of the sweaters u dont like for cash =)
Assuming you got anything worth even $10 xD Bleh, I just turned 17, so even if I went to canada- no legal drinking xD Poker sounds like a lot of fun though Havent played in a while
u can go to montreal (or quebec in general) next year...legal age is 18. but then again, just because it's illegal doesn't mean it can't be done lol
True true, but I prefer to stay on this side of the law xD Breaking it online and breaking it IRL are two completely different things for me.
im assuming by breaking the law online u mean downloading music and stuff like that. but the thing is, since everyone does it and almost no one gets caught...it's fairly safe. does that have anything to do with your morality?
I'm gonna go over to some friends, where we'll be with like 8 or so and we drink, we eat, we party and than we'll pay a visit to some local pubs Looking forward to it! OH, and they are 10 high, so we have a GREAT view over te city and the fireworks
I can't pick... Skanky party at a ski resort, or a massive house party at some guy's mansion. It's a toss up between the two. I think that I'll just let my friend pick - I don't really care anyway. I'm not going to Montreal either, like I thought that I was, because I don't want to go by myself, and I don't really care about drinking ages. I can go clubbing some other time. I need to cut back on clubbing. Maybe this was a good decision... I'm not the biggest planner, in case you missed that.
For some odd reason, I can't stand new years. It really does nothing for me. Just another holiday, except even more lame then usual. I spend it just drinking champagne and sitting at home watching the fireworks. Im sure if I did something exciting like go to Las Vegas that would be a different story. But I feel: "Yes its a new year, but I don't feel I should celebrate it" This sounds kind of emo though.. hahah
I'm going 2 be eating a big dinner of home made chinease food (idk why this is the tradition in my family) I will get very high b4 eating ofc.. then drink a lot afterwards and hopefully go into the new year with a not so bad hangover !
"Sawadee Pee Mai" It is a big thing over here and we will be watching the fireworks and generally having a good (sanuk) time :yup:
