If you aren't hurting for Neopoints and won't get upset at a potential loss (or need the avatar still) I say use it. Otherwise sell it, it's worth approx. 230,000. =)
If you don't have the avatar yet, then use it. If you already have the av, then Nerkmids have ceased to be of value to you as items and you should sell it. I like avvie hunting, okay?!
The expected value of those things is like 90,000. Sell it unless you're feeling lucky, or want the avatar.
If I were you, I'd sell it. But if you're feeling lucky, use it! Most likely, though, you'll win nothing of value.
My vote goes towards using it. Hey it was free, it's a great way to take a gamble when you don't have to pay for it
i would say use only if you could miss it. If you need the extra 200k then sell it, if not use it. You have the chance of getting something good if not oh well.
If you don't have the avatar sell the magical golden nerkmid go and buy the cheapest nerkmid which I believe is the Basic Golden Nerkmid then use that one and you will have still made profit off the one you found as well as can sell your prize. If you have the avatar then maybe selling it and keeping profit would be better, don't know its your choice
I'd say unless you really need the money, use it. For avatar purposes if you don't already have it (avatar collecting ftw), and just testing your luck(gambling also ftw xD). I once got a free Nerkmid worth around 200k, and out came a 400k nerkmid. So you never know.

Sell it. THe chance of getting anything good are pretty slim. Plus 200k+ is pretty good for a random event.
