It'd be nice to see what everybody's running in terms of hardware around here! Post your specs up! Rexx's Glory: (Between this bad boy and my constant additions to my drums, I'm left with no moneys!) Processor: AMD Phenom II 940 x4 Black Edition (Overclocked to: 3.5ghz) Motherboard: Asus M3N72-D Video Card: eVGA 9800GTX+ RAM: 4x OCZ XTC SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 Power Supply: OCZ 700W GameXStream Power Supply w/ Quad +12V Case: Antec Nine Hundred Speakers/Sub: Altec Lansing Speakers + Sub Keyboard: Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard Mouse: Razer Copperhead Gaming Mouse
Nice specs, you game a lot I presume. I don't quite remember all the components exactly, but here's the important stuff... Intel Core2 Duo 2.52 ghz, not overclocked 4x 1 gb OCZ DDR2 ATI Radeon 2600xt cheap mobo, but works well enough for my system Relatively cheap case, came with PSU
Here is my laptop's: Intel C2D 2.20GHz 3.00gb DDR2 Radeon 8600GTS My PC is kind of made from spare parts: AMD Sempron 2000+ 1.00gb DDR Radeon 9200SE Antec 400w PSU
Intel Core2 Duo E8400 @ 3 ghz 2 X 1 gb ram (forgot the brand) Sapphire HD4850 512mb 2 X 250gb WD HDD running on dual monitor (Acer AL1706) standart logitech wireless mouse/keyboard pretty much it.
AMD Phenom X4 9750 @ 2.4GHz Stock CPU Cooler 2x2gb Kingston HyperX T1 @ 1066MHz 1tb WD Caviar Black HDD Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H Motherboard Onboard Graphics (Radeon 3200)... waiting for 4870 to drop sub 100. Assorted CD/DVD RW/R drives
AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core Processor, 2.8 gHz (not overclocked, but I might in the future) Stock Processor fan + the fan from my old processor Asus A376-CM Motherboard 2 x 1GB RAM (+1 GB SWAP) 400w PSU (I think) Cheap on-board ATI graphics card Not that great, but not bad for the $200 I paid for it (I'm planning more upgrades soon)
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz 2.67 GHz 1250 GB memory 4 GB RAM (can upgrade to 8 GB if i want) 64 bits Radeon 9600x (i think) running on a beautifull 24' monitor
They were referring to HDD space, not "Memory". Look at the post, it says 4gigs of RAM, and 1250 GB of "Memory". People get confused about the difference between "storage" or "hard drive space" and "memory"
That would make loads more sense. A 1.2 TB hard drive is kinda crazy, but not as ridiculous as that much RAM (considering that'd probably cost $30,000, and only 1% would be recognized by the motherboard).
I want the motherboard that handles that much RAM! I mean, I've seen 'em in adverts, but you could have a 500GB ramdrive and be done!
Laptop's Specs Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Motherboard: Intel P45 Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 RAM: 4096 MB DDR2 Dual Channel Mouse: Razer Krait Gaming Mouse Display: 14" WXGA OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

nvidia 9600 gfx 4 gb ram AMD phenom quad core 2.2 GHz processor Windows XP Sp2 Trust gaming mouse (corded, faster reaction time). 17" LG flatscreen monitor I forget what MB =(
I don't know what my computer is.. it says Thermaltake on the front - but I'm assuming that's casing (lulz). Anyway: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz 4 GB RAM 300 GB HDD Epic graphics card (me thinks) DVD/Blu-ray burner and my 2x 1 TB external HD's OS: Vista ... tempted by Linux though
intel core 2 quad @ 2.6GHz 3gb ram 300gb hd geforce 8600 gt windows xp bought this for about a year ago. ;x
Laptop: AMD Turion 64 x2 @ 1.6GHz 2GB RAM Windows 7 Ultimate x86 160GB HDD ATI Mobile (some shit) 256MB Desktop: AMD Athlon 64 x2 @ 2.2GHz 3GB RAM Windows Vista Ultimate x86 500GB HDD nVidia GeForce 9500GT (1GB) Not the best, but to be honest it's all I need.
