Firstly... Did you just try disabling your internet security to download it? I mean, you know FF and Adobe are safe :p Or just lower the settings...

What security software do you run?

For Problem 2 - Try right clicking, save target as. then put it in a location of your choice. That MAY work depending on how the button is linked.

Yes Will, thats right :D lol

Im using norton antivirus for my security and i tried disabling that, turned off my firewall (if that even matters) AND i changed my system settings to low.

I restarted the computer and had two things pop up to install java first, then adobe. So i clicked the update button and that worked for both. However, some sites are still telling me that my java is turned off.. o_O i have no idea. This is my computer its my fathers thats shared with a bunch of kids so who knows what they could have done.

There also this stupid "InPrivate" setting on my IE for some reason. I have no idea what that even is... if that mite be the problem?

Thanx for the help guys! :D

Try right clicking and Running it as Admin, your user settings might not allow you to download it.
