Hi, Here's what Im suggesting. Maybe a staff could try all the programs and see what are broken/fixed? And for the users who created the program, maybe post an announcement whenever theres an update?
Agreed. A review of the downloads available is required. Lots are outdated and do not work and the original programmers are no longer that active. We also need more programmers to make new programs. Expon, Ricky and Zer0 have all but stopped programming neopets programs due to real life circumstances and theres not as many people around that are willing to spend time to learn to code. With the exception of Tharoux and Lightning, i'm not aware of any other people currently producing programs for our site.
I think you stated what a lot have been thinking about the program list. I'd be interested in getting back into programming, but it's been a long time. If I had the source code of a program that needed some fixes or updating, I could probably get back into it in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, it will take a few months to get back up to speed.
