there is some way to hide to tnt that you are using greasemonkey here is how one user on another site said about it "Looks like TNT put in the search form a hidden input, called feedset and usually set to 0 that would be set by the onload event of GM's icon "status_on.gif" to 1. As this is a chrome:// link, it would always be set to 1 just because GM is installed. This is harsh. So I removed it with Platypus." ive been toying with this but sadly im to much of a noob to come up with a way to mask the fact that im using GM someone wana help me with this be happy to pay you for your help
Yes, I looked this up too, and then did a few tests myself. I've always heard from others that TNT deletes the first five rows of SW searches when Greasemonkey is enabled. This detection scheme was done by checking if the GM status_on.gif loads (if it does, GM is enabled, if not, then GM isn't enabled). If the image loaded, then a POST variable called "feedset" would be set to "1" instead of the normal value of "0". I confirmed this fact by looking through the source code of the page. But wanting to be thorough, I did the SW searches w/ and w/o Greasemonkey enabled. I then took the POST data using TamperData. To my surprise, "feedset" was set to "0" in both cases, resulting in identical SW searches. Still wanting to be more thorough, I compared the shop wizard results w/ and w/o Greasemonkey enabled, and confirmed that they were identical (the first five rows were not deleted when GM was enabled). I double-checked the status_on.gif image in my browser and indeed, it did not load. Thus I conclude that GM is currently undetected. Though for future reference, here are steps you can take to undetect GM: - Adblock the status_on.gif image, then it will not load - Turn off Javascript, then the "feedset" variable will not change, regardless of the status_on.gif image - (not sure about this one) Delete the status_on.gif image altogether off of your computer, then obviously it won't load
This account has been FROZEN for the following reason: This account was using an 'auto buyer' to buy things from Neopet shops. only thing i used on this account was FFaber and i had new FF3 version so they are tracking it some how and its not only threw the shop wiz bc i was very careful to not have it enabled when i used the shop wiz
Checked shop pages. There are no checks for any chrome file, so it must have not been that... Next version is coming up pretty well tho, shouldn't have these risks EDIT: Just checked. Firefox Error console says: [customtable=Security Error]Security Error: Content at http://www.google.it/firefox?client=fir ... Bfficial may not load or link to chrome://browser/content/browser.xul.[/customtable] It's not detectable at all. __darkmaster, I'll let you know when the new version is out (that shouldn't have this kind of problems)
Yep, I concur with ricky. I checked the post data, source code, and error console. No difference when GM is enabled. Oooh, new version. I like the sound of that
You wouldn't happen to have consistently nailed only very high value items in mere milliseconds over long periods of time every day, would you? Dumb as TNT seems sometimes, I think they can put 2 and 2 together... know what I mean? I think maybe they didn't detect what you were using - they just made a judgement call based on the facts.
