Programmers being able to approve programs.

    I update my program quite a lot and it gets a little annoying when you have to wait for a Moderator to approve the program. I was thinking that programmers should be allowed to approve programs, as it could be part of our status 'Programmer' =].

    I think this would be a nice idea. Well, programmers are trusted so I guess that would be ok o_O

    nice idea, but wouldnt the programmer be able to approve their own program then?

    Yeah, I was going to do that but the download mod needs to be revamped first. :/
    So it'll be done eventually but not right now.

    Well, yeah, but we're trusting that after their application and being accepted that they wouldn't upload anything malicious. They, of course, could upload something bad, but they would be caught, stupid, and banned :p

    Yeah programmers are trusted, obviously that someone could try to do something but they would be caught out easily and I believe Neofriends has one of the best communities around =]

    Plus you have to upload something and have it approved and well-liked first before you're accepted onto the programming team, so there's a bit of safety there as well.
