What I recommend is that you simply download Tor.

Just download the Tor Browser Bundle for Windows found here: http://www.torproject.org/easy-download.html.en

Automatically finds you a new, working, proxy every time you need it, and you can just use the Portable Firefox included.

Tor gets really annoying though...and it doesn't really find a good proxy :(

What are you trying to do with the proxy? *psp, Zer0's programs run really well with proxies :D*

It gets annoying simply in that it takes some time to load, and of course most proxies are freakishly slow.

Tor works as far as finding proxies goes, though, and occasionally it does find a fast one...to me, at least, Tor suffices.

Its bloody slow for me EVERYTIME. I have used it like 100+ times, not even an acceptable one. Gave up on it after that D:

It works for me just fine. But I can't, say, login to multiple shell accounts using it as it doesn't change IP addresses when I want to.

Unless I've totally missed something and someone can tell me how and if one can manually change the IP address TOR uses somehow...? (*nab* 8B)

I've been looking for something like this!! I can't believe I've never seen this before.

I'm going to give it a shot! :D

I've been using proxies i've found from googling and they are riddled with adds and are often super slow...

But some of the websites lie when they say Elite proxy. I check some and they turn out to be transparent proxies. Very few websites provide good, elite, fast PUBLIC proxies.

Most proxies I use are blocked out by neopets. They let you "create an account" and freeze up on the first page. A lot of Tor's did this for me but maybe I wasn't using it right? I don't know. I also found it to be unbareably slow when it did decide to find working ones. I am quite new to all this so perhaps I'm missing something though!! You never know. I think I'll give it another try - also Proxy.org works fine for me, and www.ip-adress.com too.

Does using a proxy make you that much less likely to get iced?
