So i just got chain iced. and now i have to start all the way over from scratch. 0 np's and everything. So, too make sure this don't work. would someone like to explain to me how a proxy will protect my main? Edit:Also how to use one, and if they could give me a working one?
How a proxy will help your main: Basically it will mask your IP and TNT will see it as whatever the IP is. How to use one: Insert the proxy and port into the internet options: Proxies will look like this ---> 120.28.211.263:880 (Proxyort) First check what your ip is at myipaddress.com If you're using firefox- Tools>Options>Advanced>Network>Settings>Tick: Manual proxy config> Input the proxy then port>Tick: Use this proxy server for all protocols>Apply> test at myipaddress and make sure it changed If you're using IE- Tool>Internet Options>LAN Settings>Under Proxy server tick: Use proxy server for your LAN >Input Proxy and port>Apply> test at myipaddress and make sure it changed As for finding proxies you should google anonymous proxies.
okay, so change my IP when i log onto side accts then? or change it when i log onto my main? Edit:An also when i change my IP. It won't let me navigate to any other websites? Am i doing something wrong?
^ If you had created your main and side(s) on the same IP address, these accounts are going to be linked together, so if TNT decides to chain-ice you, you're probably going to lose both / all your accounts all the same (correct me if I'm wrong). To be on the safe side, you should create your side(s) on different IP addresses. As for the activities you're going to carry out on it, as long as your main (or accounts you want to protect) has a different IP address as the one that may get frozen, it doesn't matter whether you use proxies for your main or not. If you don't use one for your main, then use one for the one that may get frozen. If your main uses one, then you can leave the one that may get frozen proxy-less (e.g. if you want to AB without a proxy because it's faster like that), or use a different proxy. (Again, correct me if I'm wrong :X) ^ Either that particular proxy is dead, or your net is slow. Or maybe the communication between the proxy server and your ISP is bad. Try using another proxy, perhaps? :X
i would actually suggest keeping your main on a proxy since you aren't going to be doing anything that requires a decently fast connection other than browsing neo and actually using your sides on your regular connection so when you ab you have the fastest connection possible. Now you still need to create all the different sides on their own seperate proxies so when you get iced for abing they don't get all your sides. As for finding reliable proxies try a program called tor, it finds a decent proxy for you and you can configure your browsers to use tor as the provider and they have tutorials on how to configure it to your browser. also if youre going to log onto your main you always need to make sure that youre not on your regular connection otherwise if you follow my advice you will link your main with your abing shells.
