I know I might get frozen, that's why most of people using Abs run them in side accounts... but I heard that they can froze all your active accounts, including the main--- Is that true? and, Do IPs hide-programs work?
Yes, it is true that all of your accounts may be frozen. You can use a proxy when you're logged in to your ABing account to protect your main, but nothing is completely safe if you decide to use a programme. This link was posted on the site for if you're interested in using a proxy. Here it is: http://www.home.zonnet.nl/roberthoensel ... ymity.html
I'm not sure, but if you'd use it like once a week, for 1 hour or less, it shouldn't draw much suspicion. It's still on your own risk tough
you won't get caught unless you leave it on for hours after you're banned it's basically no risk you get banned every day but so does every legit restocker
they pretty much ban you for refreshing too much which is whta the prog does. shoudl be ok tho, they unfreeze you after a short while
If you're smart about it, and don't get overly greedy with it - chances are you're going to be fine. I've been ABing on and off for over 2 years with my main, and have yet to be frozen. *knocks on wood* Things I've done to help minimize the chances of being frozen: 1. I began as a legit restocker, and didn't start ABing until I had managed to get several UBs on my own. This is especially handy if you participate in RS & Chat boards on Neo - because it somewhat builds up the trust that you're skilled enough to rs the UBs. 2. I never leave an ABer on for longer than an hour at any given time. I'll leave it on while I'm cooking dinner or something, then turn it off for a while, then go back to it later on in the day. 3. Since I do it on my main, I already minimize the risk of being frozen due to sending the items to a different account. 4. I put most things in my SDB for a few days/week or so before selling. 5. I use lists that not only have UBs, but other decent profit items. I don't /only/ go for the high stuff, so it looks slightly more realistic. 6. Biggest thing to remember is if you get something REALLY good - DONT BRAG ABOUT IT. Seriously, Don't go into Battledome chat, jump on the RS board and shout "I JUST GOT A TT!" or something to that effect. The legit restockers know when something has been ABed because they don't get a haggle. It's pretty much guaranteed that if you brag about it everywhere - you'll get reported. ^^ So in essence - if you're intelligent about it, and play it on the safe side - you're not going to get frozen.
tHANK YOU!!!!! now im a legal restocker, so i think im making my way to use an ab. All i need is to be patient and post....
Because legit - you're not going to get nearly as many UBs as you get from an autobuyer. Besides - it's tedious and annoying now that they've changed the RSing to 100% randomness. It sucks sitting in a shop and doing nothing but refreshing every 5 - 10 seconds, hoping you get an RS. When I did things legit - it was before TNT messed with the shops. lol. But it does build up a bit of trust in the other players. If people know that you've restocked UBs, then they're not going to be quite as report happy when they see something UB in your trades/auctions/whatever.
Some one mentioned earlier about forgetting to turn it off. I did that on a 66 month account with an alien aisha, msp poogle, coco jubbie, and mallow grundo o_o Yeah I self froze right when I figured that out. Left it on for 10 hours. I'm not going to bother to get it back, I'm just going to AB on my new account
