Well... I was wondering what exactly it is that TNT looks for when chain icing someone. I made four new accounts after being chain iced. All four are on four different proxies, and only two of them share the same email address. Do you think if one of the two on the same email address is iced, the other one will be iced aswell? I kinda just want to know what they look for, like... register'd email address register'd ip address all ip's connected to the account That's all I could think of that they would be able to track multi account users and chain ice them. I might be way off, but yea... I wanna know just so I know how careful I have to be xD Also one more question xD! I made my own SS list, and I finally worked out everything and it's not getting any reveiws at all. It's not the greatest, but it's my own and it works. Since it gets no reviews, would I run any risk of getting iced? My guess is no, but wouldn't it look kind of suspicious when in the morning TNT realises that some 1 day old account just got like 4-5 trophies? I guess I'll find out what happens in the morning xD I'm highly anticipating what's going to happen o.o EDIT: Oh, and also if I've had like 2-3 accounts that have been iced on one email address, and I decide to make another account on that email address, do you think they'll ice me? I'll probably be on their radar, huh?
If they share the same email they will both be iced. I would not log onto them from the same ip, and a 1 day old account with a lot of trophies is quite suspicious. x3 It would probably be safer to just make a new email and use that for a new account.
Well from experience of being chain iced, I'm sure they look at IPs. Any more then 1 account to an IP they will think you are multi-accounting. Only good in making an account on a proxy is to keep using a proxy on the side accounts. If you use your real IP on a side then what was the point really... As for using the same email address, probably not the best idea. And as for your SS even though you are not getting reviewed and getting the trophies is not a good thing. Even when I used a SS, my list was just to get 1k a game and I still got iced a lot. I'd expect to get iced =/ I always use new emails, on a proxy, and if I cheat on them I make it look as legit as possible... Not go crazy on a day old account. I let my side accounts rot and age a little. =P ~Parisdirt
Yea, I do use the same passwords on all of them. I'd hope it isn't something they look for xD They're all on different proxies. None of them are linked at all, Ip-wise that is. My ss is just to get 1k a game aswell xD I don't want to let my accounts rot, because that means quitting again. I want to try to get as much as I can, as fast as I can, just for fun. Kinda going through a trial and error stage. I want to find out exactly what will work to make profit, and if it won't work, I want to find out how to make it work. And I've been screwing around with the score sender, soooo... I mean, I'm not going to lie... Aging an account is probably a lot smarter than using day old accounts... But I'm becoming quite the impatient bastard xD
Since other people have answered some of your other questions.. I'll answer the last ones You won't get owned by TNT when they are reviewing your score. However, if it is in the top 10-15-20 you may be iced depending on how they feel, and whether they believe you actually got that score. If they decide you're too young to have that many trophies, they'll investigate it and rape you. Also, other players (especially if you chat on the boards using game avatars) will accuse you of cheating and report you to alert TNT to your cheating. Annoying, yes. What I'd recommend is to freeze your account (http://www.neopets.com/remacct.phtml) while it's young and once you've got the trophies, and allow it to age and allow yourself to get off the high score list to minimize the chance of TNT looking into it. I know many people who have done this and are still going strong after 8-12 months with 60+ trophies. As for your second question: don't. I've done that before after I got chain frozen, and the account was frozen within 24 hours.
Maybe you are using public proxies....If that is the case you can be iced for other people's misdoings on your selected ip... And i dont think they mind same passwords,as many of them choose simple passwords with words like 'happyxx' so neopets and there is a chance of repitition...Unless you keep 25 accounts with similar details...then it can look suspicious!
Sweeeeet dude. That helps so much. I seriously forgot about that feature. I'll start doing that tomorrow after I've got the trophies and all. Provided I'm not iced, that is Even if I am, that'll still help me =] Thanks a lot. But yea, I'm nowhere even near the top 25. I'm in the lower areas with bronze trophies I think I'll leave like one account uniced, and see how far I can take that one. See what I can pull out of my bum =] You rock <3
Provided you're on different proxies, the frozen one (hopefully) won't be linked to the unfrozen one. If you're using proxies, you may as well go for some higher-up trophies - get a couple golds in the max score games - eg. Grand theft ummagine, Brunos backwoods breakaway, faerie caves 2. Even if you're not, you may as well go for them
Don't you only get the trophy after being reviewed? Meaning it's already been decided that you got the trophy legitly, and won't be iced? If I do decide to do that, should I be careful as to not go too overboard with making the time too long? Or is there no such thing as a score that's 'too long'?
They don't review every score: only scores with a. very low game times and b. high (ie. above the review level) scores. The games I mentioned are 'easy trophy' games - meaning they have a max score many people can attain, so they're relatively easy. As for wait time: for the three games I've mentioned, you don't need to worry about making it too long, because you can repeat levels, etc. However, many games have time limits and other such things that will affect game time, so you need to account for that.
I'm trying to self-ice, and I keep getting this error: Error: You have been directed to this page from the wrong place! If you KEEP getting this error, chances are you have some security settings enabled that are not letting you play Neopets correctly. Click here to see some tips that might help you fix this problem.
