Okay, I do apologize if I'm being stupid or paranoid, but I'm new to the cheating scene and would like some help about proxies.

I've read the guides and and I know where to find the proxies. But are they safe? And I don't mean safe as in getting my neopets account frozen. I mean safe as in, are the proxies safe for me to use without my personal information being taken?

If some are and some aren't, where can I find the safe proxies and where should I know to stay away from?

Again, I apologize if this is a really dumb question.

All the free proxy sites should be safe because they're not that fast, and alot of them do not work for long/at all.

It's the private pay ones that you need to be careful with. they're faster, but they can do something technical (I'll spare you the details) that can allow them to access your information.

On another note.. The free proxy websites are also unsafe as many people will probably be using them. And if any of them use to cheat on neopets you could end up getting banned from a chain icing without actually doing anything to deserve it ;)

But I guess if you're cheating with it anyway, you gotta expect risks and be willing to accept consequences.

Oooh I didn't even think about that one  But you are right, I mean either way (proxy or not) there's a risk of getting chain frozen.

So I guess my next question would be... which do you recommend, VPN or proxies?
