List EVERY SINGLE PART I'm suppose to buy. I won't lie I will probably spend tons of time just researching best parts but if anyone has anything to recommend feel free ><

Reason: BootCamp on mac crapped out....guess it's off to a new desktop for me :( I need Windows for my games...

Also if anyone is super tech savy: When I am booting into Windows, all I get is a black screen. No loading screen, no text no nothing, before all of that fancy "loading" stuff happens. Just black :(

Urgh, is jealous. I wanted to do this a while back. When I researched the parts i needed it would have ended up costing me like 3 grand. Money i didn't have at the time.

Anyways, just off the top of my head, you obviously need a motherboard. I suggest starting with a motherboard and a case and go from there. You'll need a Power Supply and cooling system. If your planning on creating a hi-powered gaming system i would recommend getting a liquid cooling system. I don't know much about them except that they are more efficient than the typical cooling fans.

Also, get a solid state hard drive to run windows on and a seperate hard drive to install programs/games etc.

Obviously you'll need graphics and sound cards and a CPU. The CPU can be real pricey depending on how powerful you want to go.

That's 3 of the best CPUs on the market at the moment, but they go up to like $1000 just on their lonesome.

There's the ethernet/internet cards, you could also install a WIFI card and go wireless, i dont know anything about them though.

Don't do what one of my mates did and start building a computer and realise you don't have any SATA cables or anything to run the thing. Big disapointment when he realised he had to wait another few days to get it going.

    ---------------------

As to that problem with the computer loading up black, is this on a computer that windows is currently installed on or are you trying to install windows?

Ask me any questions about certain parts and i can get you an answer in a couple of days...

Well I got the mobo all sorted! But what else? I need to get like USB drives, and maybe put in a memory card reader cuz that's always convenient.

I'm not looking for much in my computer. Hoping to build a decent one with i5 will do, and the best game I'm playing right now is Skyrim and to be frank, I don't need all the intense graphics...like a good card but not the "OMG TOP OF THE MARKET" sorta stuff if you know what I mean xD

Oh and the black screen happens when trying to boot into Windows 7, I already have it installed and everything. This happened on my 32bit Windows after using it for a good 9 months. Then I reinstalled as 64bit and after I run the loader (obviously I am pirating Windows) it stopped working since. Maybe it's the loader?

I'm at work at the moment by when I get home I'll knock out a quick computer and post what I come up with parts wise.

As for the loading problem, I've never used a pirated windows but im assuming it's exactly the same as normal windows just without the updates.

Does the computer actually load or does it not load at all?
Try connecting the monitor to something else to eliminate the monitor from being the cause (the display drivers may not be up to date in the new version)

Also, try updating the bios, being a pirated copy it may be outdated.

If you are making a new computer than you must have to get the proper part for build up your cabinet like SMPS,RAM, fan, mother board, as well the monitor, key board mouse which are the important parts for it.
