[Rate] Two Signatures

    I was wondering if you guys could crit my signatures, first two I've made in 1-2 years or so. Thanks.

    Okay, I'm not that good at graphics, so I'm not that good at critiquing graphics either. :p

    First one:

    +I like how the graph fades away
    +I like the border
    +I like how the orange and pinkish-orange kind of fade and swirly away
    -Dislike how your name and the animal thing are blurry
    -Dislike how the graph is straight and whatnot, use a different graph brush for a more uneven pattern
    -Animal thing is too small...it's all background and hardly any foreground.
    -Dislike Boring font
    Overall: 6.5/10

    Second one:
    +Like the swirls and pattern
    -Dislike Boring font
    -Dislike Animal thing blurry
    Overall: 6/10

    Oi! <3 Thanks so much for the lengthy review, it really helps. Yeah, the graph is an effect not a brush, and I was just trying it out, and some other effects. Thanks so much! +rep

    I use gimp :) How did you get the graph effect??

    Agree Cackle on all those points really...
    The main thing is that you need to increase the foreground image or decrese the background size to make it more proportional :)

    Oh, I didn't know there was a way to get a grid on the image. I use the configure, view, and align to grid features a lot, though.

    Buttttt I thought the graph/grid whatever was a brush.

    But yeah, especially the first one, there's the little name and the little animal in the 400px × 140px image.

    It'd be nice to see a little more substance in the image, like a larger image of the pokemon, as well as a larger, more interesting font.

    Other than that, I like the effects and colours - but again, that could be greatly improved with more substance.

    colours and effects are superb for the dragonite one, my only problem is with the dragonite itself. Thats like the 1st generation sprite!

    ok i thought the first one was a xweetox and the second one was a digimon so i just said animal thing so i didnt have to cover myself later. >_____>

    defeintly the first one, the swirly effects actually look purposeful and smooth
    whereas the second one looks abit erratic
