I let my friend borrow Abundance, a book about Marie Antoinette, before I had a chance to read it. I was kind of left without a book... I dragged around for a while and reread some favorites (yea, Abundance is a long book and my friend is a slow reader) until he gave me a book called Peter Pan in Scarlet. I have no problem reading kids books, and I liked Peter Pan so I gave it a chance. Finished it in about a day because it was so good. So if anyone appreciates a good solid story and needs something to read, I highly suggest this. The fact that it is short is nice as well. It's really amazing. Lots of very clever pieces that are really very sophisticated from a storytelling standpoint. You don't really need to know much about the original story. Anything you learned from the old Disney movie as a kid will be enough, I promise. The entire story is pretty self sufficient, even though it technically doesn't introduce any new characters. Technically... If you want to know what I mean by that you'll have to read it. READ IT. Anyway. Anyone else read any good books lately? ((Kinda figured Media = Entertainment in general))
Bleh, reading books.. only books I read are text books for school, and computer programming books... since I r teh n3rdy
Re-read through all of the Hannibal books and I'm about halfway through Hannibal Rising right now. After that I'm probably going to re-read The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide as it's been a while since I've read it.

Ooooh, books! I love reading I'm reading Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides at the moment. I found it kind of hard to get into, but I'm enjoying it now. Has anyone read Gut Symmetries by Jeanette Winterson? Very weird, but very good.
I just got done reading The Birth of Tragedy by Nietzsche. It's a good book up until the last couple chapters. He completely contradicts and invalidates his argument. What a tool...
i've read some pendragon books, but i can't seem to get any other more because where i live they're not edited
