Hi guys. I hope I don't get kicked out of this forum for posting topics that are somewhat more profound than the average post (though I don't consider myself to be profound at all). I am a sophomore from a prestigious high school in NYC, and in this age, many thoughts about relationships and the opposite sex comes to mind. I almost cried today from seeing a beautiful face. I always am in awe of God for creating such specimen. But in the modern culture we live in, which is highly luxurious, superficial, obese, and perverse, I feel tainted by its sting. The things we see on TV today have "cheapened" a lot of relationships. We date purely for recreation and succumb to youthful lust. Some get into relationships solely for intercourse, which I believe to be an inevitable doom. The media raises standards for relationships and idealizes them, so when we do get into relationships, it is harder to love. How may relationships change? What is your perspective on this issue?
I agree with you, but there are some people out there who are really good people and not like that at all, I got lucky and found one, and I'm sure you will too, just don't let looks blind you, personality is the greatest thing you can find in a person.
best tip i can give is, get to know some one really well brfore getting serious, just got out of a bad relationship, and i regeret not getting to know them better in the begging
