Ok, I understand that we can vote for people if they have been helpful etc and that increases reputation. What I don't get is nobody has voted for me, yet my reputation is slowly going up. Can someone please explain how the reputation thing actually works?
The more you post the more reputation you get. You just get a extra boost when somebody votes for you So thanks for voting earlier
Right, now I get it. Many thanks. And no worries. It seems sensible to me to 'reward' people who give very quick responses and are very helpful.
Not many, maybe around 5 or so. No, you do not lose any. The way it is laid out you may think you do, but you dont.
the rep system is going to be gone in the new forum anyways just to let you know. it should be out sometime around the 16th
I have never gotten voted for but I do like the rep system so far. Its a shame but it funny for everyone who likes it so much
