So i found an auction sniper from Nf on my comp. Snow's auction bidder i believe is the name. Well i searched for it under downloads and i didnt find it, yet i have to authorize before using it, and it says not authorized everytime. SO i guess my question is, is the program deleted? Or what?
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper it was not working anymore and then it was deleted from the download section. I kept getting the same errors on programs that are super ancient on this forum. There are no working auction snipers on the site anymore. Hopefully we will see one soon
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper The auction system is actually really easily exploited, but nobody with coding experience knows enough about it to really capitalize. Kind of sad really. I wish I knew what I was doing =/
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper just pm a moderator and tell them what happened. you can probably get a refund. and Hally I know what you mean I wish I knew coding too.
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper Perhaps you would like to inform them/us? Perhaps someone like Tharoux...could help us out
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper No refunds will be given to inactive members whose programs no longer work. And THERE IS one auction sniper that works... It's a script.. Heya I think sells it when he's on. I've got it.. never used it though. I should...
Re: Help with an Aution Sniper Heya's script works like a charm for small items, but you'd be done with big items. It's been a while, but I believe it works by adding a certain percent to the current bid. While that's cool and all, it doesn't have stops in place for high scale auctions - for example, if it's 1np with 1np increase, you can only increase the bid by up to 15k (or something like that). Now, if bids have been going crazy for a while, and the bid is it 40mil, an increase of 2% would try to place a bid at 41.x mil, MUCH more than the 15k cap. So that's one thing that would have to be improved upon if this were to be used for big items. Also, Heya's simply doesn't look human... the bid timing is alright, if simulating a human bidder that bids a lot instead of one who wait until the end and tries to snipe, but the values are all wrong. There has to be some kind of setting that would make the bids look human-esque. This could either be 'ending in 000,' or 123, 556, something like AU. Heya's script is actually pretty easy to modify to give a specific value (my bids are only in hundreds), but I don't know about making AU style bids. I think realistic bid values and timing would be critical for a better auction sniper
