Restock Bans Explained

Restock bans occur when a user refreshes too many times in a shop. People who do this are commonly referred to as 'restockers'. People who wait in shops to grab items quickly at every shop restock.

Due to the increasing population size in Neopia, this was put in place to give every user a chance to buy items. It began with random restocks, now it has evolved to restock bans.

You got a restock ban! If you refresh 5 times in 3 seconds you are banned on shops.

Alongside official shops, you can get banned from refreshing the shop wizard too many times. You will however not get shop banned if you are in another user's shop.

The amount of time banned varies, but can range from 10 minutes to hours.

If I refresh once in every 5 seconds each shop will I get banned? I usually open 3 shops and I refresh them once in every 30 seconds for each shop but I hardly come across an unbuyable..

 

You need to fix this:

To items, not shops.

You will get shop banned eventually, but it will only last 24hrs max. Nice find

 

ive been banned for over 35 hours before

 

i'm RS banned now.. i have been for like, 20hrs now... when's it gonna end?

 

just realized this, when you are RS banned, you can still RS at krawk island

 

When it says you have been restock ban sleeping for one hour...I had to wait up to a day, pretty weird. And I got shop wiz banned once and forgot i was, then i failed timed quest.
