i quite enjoy restocking on neopets..not for the big profits but for the buzz of having the skill and speed the observation skills, to be t he first person to buy whichever unbuyables pops into the shop first..am i alone here? is it all about the autobuyers now with the big profits and seeminly free items?.
i used to restock legitimately when the restock system was the old one and you could restock in like 10 diff shops at once
If you have the right setup you can still rs legit and get good items. I have a huge adblock list, basically every item that is worth less then 25,000 I have blocked. I turn off java script, I have macros setup for almost any price possible (not the 300,000 or 1,000,000 items). I have probably bought items in 1 second, most in less then 2 seconds though. I rs in magic, bm and stamp and get r99's so its not like im getting the stuff in tiki shop too. Ive always preferred to rs myself then using an ab I know its not "legit" but its more legit then abing since you still have to do work yourself
I have tried legit restocking, (or semi legit with adblock and no javascript) and I get some decent items sometimes, but I really love being able to turn on my autobuyer while Im at work, and watch the little notifications pop up saying that I just bought a candychan, or whatever. It makes me very happy, and I feel more productive at work for some reason. Like a super multi-tasker.
Ever since they stopped the timing schedule, I kinda quit restocking. It's been either a few ab'ing here and there.. but mostly stock now.
Restocking was so hard for me to do legitly. I don't think I ever RSed a UB legitly...ever. The most profit I ever made was probably like 20k XD I guess that's what you get for having a slow connection.
I hated when they changed the timing schedule Last time I legit RSed was when I had a month of premium. I had SSW up while RSing in stamps, made like 3m
I tried the legit RS for a while, but the slow connection really got on my nerves, really... Even when ABing, i can see my ABer log says : XXXXX missed ! (used 5768ms)
When I was new to Neopets I used to do it.. Bought an UB once in the Magic shop, was worth around 150k back than 2 years later it had inflated to 1.2 mil Lost the account tho after being reckless with a gametrainer :X
Back in the day I did really well restocking legit. I made 40m (it was a lot 5 years ago >_>) doing it the legal way with haunted weapons and meridell petpets and such. Unfortunately I lost that account because I let my friend borrow it while I was on vacation and he got it frozen I just got back into it because I'm bored over winter break lol. I never used an AB so I figured I would try it out.

Used to do it legitimately but ever since account got iced for having "multiple accounts" supposedly then I didn't want to waste efforts and time on it anymore.
I occasionally restock legitimately for the same reason. But I usually just leave the aber on for profit.

i try restocking it legitly but it seems so hard and boring so i stopped.. somewhat i think auctioning is more fun and more skill required
