Well yeah, I haven't played Neopets in about 1-1.5 years. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some major changes/new things that I should know about? What is the current price for neopoints? How about accounts? Just general questions like these. Thanks for your time
Major Changes: There is now a plot Three Years Ago the layout was different (It changed in 2007) Erm... 3 years ago the pets weren't converted yet. D: I can't think of anything else so MAJOR XD
When Viacom redid the site they also included neocash(which can be bought with USD),NC mall etc...Now the site seems to be centered around it!! Bag of peanuts has inflated too much,on a side note!!
If you have old accounts with items that are now retired just good items don't sell them till you are 80% sure on the price super duper inflation on some stuff..
Well, if you are a cheater: SSing has gotten a lot more dangerous Umm, there's nothing really that much other than they changed up the looks of Neopets' 'places'.
Thanks for all the help guys, I really appreciate it. Another question, what good is the Neocash? What are the benefits?
NeoCash doesn't really do anything except that there are a ton more customization items for your pets, Neohome, etc. (And, of course, if TNT sees you've bought NC/have Premium they might not be as likely to freeze you, but that's just theory. )
Saito, in my opinion, neopets has changed drastically in the past few years as far as the attitude of players. Individuals on the site seem to be increasingly cutthroat and hostile, even downright rude and insulting at times. The boards are epicenters of middle school children threatening to report you for asinine infractions, to the point where mispelling a word can be considered a major illicit deed. TNT freezes you for practically everything and most of the time unfairly and the monitors will not give you the time of day when you email them. I mean they are rated an F with the Better Business Bureau and over 582 complaints have been filed against TNT with the Glendale District Attorney's Office. My advice: STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY!
