RS Question

    Ok so I've decided I'm getting back to RSing, and I was wondering if TNT can ice people just because the disabled the ads on their website, using like Greasemonkey or something. Can they?

    You can disable the adverts and top banner etc by using adblock, this is allowed as stated in TNT editorial.

    (Google firefox adblock plus)

    However, adblocking junk items is freezeable offense.

    haha yerp :) like 99% of neo blocks the ads, theres a few petpages somewhere. Or just google blocking neopets ads, and you'll find some forum and lists with all the info. <3

    I went one step further and clicked on the ABP stop sign and I looked for images and blocked some of them that way. There is that nick logo at the bottom... a "hidden" advertisment thing somewhere (its just an image that said advertisement written verticle)... It does make things a lot faster. I do like the idea of adblocking the pictures on things that don't earn you profit (although it takes you a long time to do this by hand), but it pays off pretty well.

    Ad blocking junk items can get you iced.

    Adblocking junk items can get you iced, but it has a lower freeze rate than ABing.

    Yeah, but for me, it isn't hard to find the profetable items where I RS, it's having to sit there Refreshing for like an hour that bothers me. Which is why Abing is much better.

    Yeah my guide involves ABing by blocking ads.
    But I doubt TNT can track that you block the pictures .

    I heard that they can, but I've never tried so I'm not sure.
