I kind of forgot about the mini war that went on until I stumbled across this http://phillyd.tv/?p=139 today. I remember watching the news and the anchor talking to someone in the Russian government and basically calling him a liar even though a few lines before he said we don't know what is going on. I've been writing a paper on the western media bias against China but it appears we aren't supposed to like Russia either. Don't trust the news people.
wow... i totally forgot about that ordeal also. The last line where America is biased against China and hates Russia, this is semi true to the fact that China's economy is growing everyday and the fact that America had a standoff with Russia in the cold war. I don't know for certain buti think the UN should step in and stop that mini war.
The UN is a very good idea but it's only worth as much as the countries put in it. If George Bush had listened to the UN the Iraq war would never of happened. Russia already withdrew it's troops it put them in (the area I can't spell) because it claimed the Georgian government was committing genocide on it's people. The Western media automatically blamed Russia for attacking poor little Georgia but the reports coming out now suggest Georgia started it all and expected back up from America. I doubt there will be apologies on BBC news for Russia though -___-
