yes yes school is stressful. But the main idea here is whether it is TOO stressful. Is it too much for the students to take? I am currently studying in college. And i find the workload it seriously insane. Test after test. After that what do you get? MORE TESTS. Is this good for us students? From my biased point of view--no :|
My school was very stressful, I did scientific studies, so a lot of maths and physics, togheter with latin. I had to study 3-4 hours everyday. In the 4th year I got depressed... so you can imagine x3 Anyway here most of other schools are very easy, but the students think that their school it's hard even if they need to study everyday only few minutes. So it's all in your mood and feel of study I think. Oh... btw lucky you who have especially tests! We have also a lot of interrogations... and they are really scary 'cause you have to talk face to face with the professor and can't copy^^'
The most stressful thing for me was Matric, and the ensuing matric finals... death, pure death. So many matrics had nervous breakdowns, skipping school because that was the only way we could catch up with the work. Studying photography in college is so much easier. 3 hours a day, and all you do is take, develop photos.. and write essays... School is bad, but is teaches you how to deal with stress.
Many people in my school find school too stressful. But I can honestly say that it isn't for me. But that's just because I never make any homework, and never learn for tests.
lol thats how i was at skool... maybe before i test i would do half an hour study.... but i didnt really care for grades.... as long as i passed i was happy... lol
School is totally more stressful than it needs to be. A lot of students are working full time, have a full course load, and have to try to maintain life outside of it all.
That is really horrible. Nearing the important test date i can study up to 12h a day. What is a few minutes? i study at least 1h a day even if it is just a normal day are these interrogations tests? what do they ask you about. This is the first time i heard of such a thing. anyway having so many test is not exactly lucky.
Yes, I was talking about the so-called vocational schools... here they are gauged for people who don't want to study. But after these colleges you have to work very hard to find an employment! Instead the schools who prepare you for the university are often too much hard and stressful ._. Lucky because you have only tests =P We have a lot of tests and a lot of interrogations^^' Anyway... an interrogation is a sequence of questions that the professor do to the student about the subject you've studied ! An interrogation can take an half hour or even a whole hour! Usually you are interrogated together with another student, while the other classmates listen to you. You go near the professor and talk to him of the matter he asked you, or maybe reply to his questions. (it depends on how good you are) After the interrogation, you get a mark that is added to the other marks you got with tests, essays and exercises.
School IS stressful =( The past week I got like 4 tests and this week I more 3 tests, gotta study a lot and there's always loads of homework to do. Plus, from Tuesday to Friday I enter school at 8am and get out at 17pm, always having classes after classes (only with a short lunch break). Plus, my school is an ugly old flat and there's no place where you can go out in the lesson breaks and it gets a lot stressful with all the students on the corridors (which are not that big either). So yea, down with school >
I say it's not too stressful, i've never found school to be stressful, only when i procrastinated and had to do much of one project in one night that was supposed to be spread over a week did i get nervous. all time management and personal opinions i think. >.> go look at some asian countries, seems like we have it pretty easy compared to them.
my senior year and i have 4 more mandatory classes to pass... then i got sat's and act's, and i got homecoming, spring picnic, lock in, prom, graduation packet, graduation ring, and graduation pictures to pay for... easily over $2000. oh and with all that stress i got finals in two months and after second semester. and i have to keep my 135/1000 student rank. its all kewl tho cuz after may9 im an alumni! {did i use the right word?}
