So, I just watched the Movie "Push" (it was quite dreadful) and I was wondering if its just me or movies with the Drama genre are just SO much better than sci-fi movies. Almost everyone sci-fi movie I've seen in the past 2 years has been mad cheesy, mad boring, and all having to do with a small group of people against another group of people who are hidden from a larger group of people... Wow, run-on sentence much?
    So my question essentially is...
Which one is better- Drama movies or Sci-Fi movies and WHY? Are all Drama movies the same? Are all Sci-Fi movies the same? Have you never seen a Sci-Fi or Drama movie? (lol).
    Thanks,
    FX

Now that I'm older, I like drama more than sci-fi, but only when it comes to movies. They do seem to be getting cheesier and cheesier. They seem to be running out of ideas. The only "sci-fi" movies I watch now-a-days are the ones based on Terry Pratchett books, if you want to call them science fiction. I do still love the classics, though.

By classics you mean drama classics like CasaBlanca and The Great Escape?

I personally prefer a Sci-fi movie that is not too fake/unbelievable..

Actually, I meant sci-fi classics, such as Planet of the Apes (the original) and Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.

I do really like Casablanca, though. And Gone with the Wind (I'm named after that movie.)

Hmmm...this is a tough question. However, I think sci-fi movies are better. Except for some of those cheesy ones that you see on sci-fi :D

There's a Sci Fi Channel? Do people actually watch that?! Sound really boring.
What are a few examples of your favorite movie.

I love, love, love the sci-fi channel.
I do like watching cheesy sci-fi flicks once in a while.
Plus, Battlestar Galactica and Dr. Who are on Sci-Fi. & I'm a nerd like that.

To the person who said he/she liked Sci Fi when he/she was younger-
Why do you think that is?

My step dad, who's 68, got me into Battlestar Galactica.

And Dr. Who is British. I enjoy it a lot. If you like British humour, you'll probably like it.
