Okay, I do this occasionally when I get bored. It requires five things things: 1. Greasemonkey 2. ReloadEvery (or any other refresher) 3. AdBlock Plus 4. Auto Haggle script you can get here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/52294 5. Mozilla obviously You can use Chrome just takes longer to get set up and requires a few workarounds. First off, what you want to do is go to the shop you want. This part will take a while. Right click on each picture of the items you don't want and block them with adblock plus, that way when they stock, you'll only see pictures of things you do want, it makes it easier to spot the good restocks this way. Second, go to tools, options, and disable javascript. (This will stop the annoying "Buy said item for x price popup before the haggle page.) Enable, greasemonkey/autohaggle if it isn't already and start ReloadEvery at 5 seconds or whatever you prefer. It will make a drop down menu at the refresh button for the page, you can customise it there. It remembers what page it is refreshing so it will only refresh at that shop, not any other page. Voila, all you have to do now is wait for a restock and when you see a picture, click on it and bam, auto haggles for you and everything. If this has already been posted, I'm sorry didn't see it in the guides when I was looking through them.
This is pretty good, semi legit lol Reload every isnt like a spider, i only use reload every when i need long refreshing avatars like the mutant graveyard of doom or bd challengers like commander garoo
neat guide! except how can you stop reloadevery when you see items restock in the shop? wouldn't it just continue refreshing?
In firefox you can right click anywhere on the page and just click "stop". Even if the page reloads the right click menu doesn't go away.
but blocking images is illegal and might get froze for this, i've already knew this thing a fewa years back and tried and got frozen. althought its still safer than abing
this looks kinda REALLY risky, i wouldn't do it. I got frozen by TNT before for something like this...
has anyone safely done this method or a long period of time ? just wondering -> it sounds like an easy method
Oh yeah, I used this method. I sat up for hours a few nights a week waiting for good items as I manually refreshed and still missed out on 90% of the good items I went for, Adblock be damned. I missed out on a lot of sleep before work, I treasured every victory I made over the ABers, and then after a few months of it - I was frozen "for ABing". There was substantial evdience proving that I hadn't actually ABed - the fact that I missed 9 out of 10 (or more) of the items I went for, the fact that I bought quite a few items that I took losses on, and the fact that I was writing my successes and failures in my Neopets diary right after they happened as a record. And TNT willfully ignored all of it and kept me frozen, even after taking it to the BBB. I asked, but they would never tell me just what I was supposed to have done that made them thought I ABed, nor would they give a name to the [fictitious] ABer I was supposed to have been using. So I highly recommend saving your time & effort and ABing instead of doing "semi-legit". Because if they want to get you, they're gonna get you. And if you ABed, you put in little to no effort, so getting frozen shouldn't hurt too much.
:/ I would so much rather do AB, but I dont even have enough pts! But I used this for HPD and it went pretty smoothe. PRob restocked more then 4 hours
