Pretty Basic, but I really like the way it turned out.

Yeah, its a bit bland
The little guy kinda blends in with the background a bit too much. Try changing the color of the guy or the background so that there's more contrast between the two.

I like the background effect, but it should be combined with more stuff.
And the text looks crooked, which doesn't really look like the style of the image.

Nice job overall, but it could be made even better if you change a couple things around a bit

Well, I'd go with a font that looks balloon-like since that's the vibe I get from the character.

 

Okay, I'll try that maybe sometime.

 

I actually really like it the way it is. If I had to poke at something it would be the black font, but I personally dont like black when I have a plethora of colors in front of me.

 

The color is too much of one color, then the tag is empty you could insert some effect in more with a C4D...
Take away font and the frame, the font ruin because they are too large (or reduce or take away), because the stone frame with the color of work in general.
