Help me please !! How do you price the value of a service? The specific instant in my mind just happened. I (legitly) sent a score of 2700 in Meepit Juice Break for GMC and got paid 40k. Neither of us knew much about pricing a service, and I don't want to have over-charged. So, can you tell me how I would price something like that? Not only in this instance, but a general method of determining the value of a service. I believe it would be appropriate to +rep anyone that could help
you pay whatever they want to pay you or you want to pay them. there is no "set" price on anything, and anyone who tells you so is just trying to "inflate"/"deflate" it to whatever they themselves think is right. theres nothing more annoying than someone trying to change your price becuase they "heard" the exchange rate is this or that. this is a blackmarket
Crud... that's terrible, 'cause now I have to learn how to price so they are willing to stick around x.x Thanks for the help, +rep'd, and "keep on keeping on"
Depends on how difficult the service is and how long it will take. Something like the Altador Plot which takes 0 skill but maybe an hour or so costs ~150k. Neoquest II which takes some degree of skill and several hours costs ~750k+. Just judge as you see fit. If buyers think the price is too high, they will tell you in which case you will probably haggle it down to something more reasonable.
crap u made my rep go down (well up). . anyways, good luck becoming a hustler in the blackmarket. be the one to dictate the prices, not the one following the prices :yup:
meh...I'll keep my comments about that to myself. But 40k is a good price for any game score. Avvies, GMC, plots, etc. that require a game score charge roughly 25k-60k, depending on the difficulty/time taken/rarity/etc.
