Yeah. I got Starbucks today and I was thinking while waiting for my drink, there are so much more drinks than it tells you on the menu. So I decided to make this thread for recommendations. {Trust me every time I go..I stand for a good few minutes looking at the menu and have no idea what I want} Today I got the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. It was even better than the Peppermint Mocha I usually get. I really love White Chocolate so I decided to get it since it was -13 today and snowed all day
I always get some kind of double chocolate chip thing that doesn't have coffee in it. I'll look it up next time I go.
I HATE COFFEE!!! I hate the taste, I hate the smell, I hate the look...ugh *shudder* So, if I ever go to starbucks, I just get a yummy hot chocolate
lol. im sensitive to caffeine.. jus a small cup of coffee can kp mi up for 24 hours. so i usually dun drink coffee often.. when i go starbucks i ll usually order green tea frappe or sumthing w green tea in it.. not sure if that drink is special to my area or if its available elsewhere too..
Venti Wet Coffee Frappachino Light ^^ That is what I normally get but Toffee Nut Lattes at Christmas are awesome xD I was quite shocked when I went to the US how limited the menu was.
you all sound like terribly big snobs. i get nescafe from the jar. served with hot water. cup-size thanks.
As I am also not allowed to have too much caffeine I usually get an Iced Chai Tea Latte that I refer to as the "largest size." If I pay that much for coffee & have to wait in line for that long I think they can figure out what the largest size is... On rare occasions I go crazy & get a short of espresso with whipped cream to drink before my Chai... I know it's not good for me, but neither is anything I do that's fun. Also, I usually try to buy my Chai from a more locally owned shop if I can but since Juno's, my former favorite cafe closed, I am forced to visit Starbucks in the morning as the other coffee shop doesn't seem to open till 9am or so... *sigh*
I usually like getting White Chocolate Mocha, I absolutely HATE the taste of coffee and this mocha taste just like hot white chocolate. During the summer I like getting their Double Choco Chip Frap.
Yup I looked it up and this is what I got "A frappuccino can be coffee based or simply milk based. The fact that you got a mocha frappuccino means it is one of the coffee based ones that they offer so here you go: They use the mocha syrup (its thicker more like a sauce actually)... and blend it with ice and their "coffee base" which consists of cold coffee and a dairy base (milks, creams - they pre-make this in batches) So. 1- they measure out the coffee-dairy base 2- add the pumps of mocha (which you can customize) 3- add ice Put all this in a blender until it comes out to a smooth consistency Then add some chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top."
I always get the double chocolate chip when I go there. I've had a few other things from there, but for the most part, paying 4 dollars for a drink isn't something I can do everyday. Plus I can't stand the taste of coffee >.<
I only ever get a Venti Strawberries & Cream Frappacino, with some of the chocolate powder on the whipped cream.
One of the really nice things about living in the "Back of beyond" is the absence of Starbucks....after all I am English and only drink tea :yup:
I understand that...the reason I cannot have Starbucks is that the nearest one is in Bangkok which is 11 hours drive from here...a bit far to go for a cup of joe :yup: So I bought some Moccona gold blend and drink that at home :arf:
