Sharing my resignation letter.

For those of you itching to quit your bitchy ass job in a nice fashion and loving excuses, feel free to use.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter of resignation to give you (my employers) a two weeks quitting notice. Due to the fact I can no longer handle the stress of this job regardless of how much fun I had and the opportunity I had to meet new acquaintances. I sincerely believed I can handle the work load of a job and school work when I decided to take this job, but as I was accepted into the University of Alberta for fall 2010, I realize that the very little time I already have is not enough to keep me in this position. I appreciate the opportunities McDonald’s have given me these past 4 months I have been here (Crew Trainer promotion, cross training and such). There have definitely been good and bad, but it also provided me the experience I had hoped to get, and improved some of my personal communication skills. I also appreciate the fact that a mysterious manager has finally changed my Time Card name from “Taylor D” to “Melissa C”. I honestly did not want to leave after see that. Best of luck to everyone at Kensington McDonald’s, I wish you all the best! (Even to those people who wish me less!) Cheers!
