Shockwave games won't work for me on neo -.-

Yeah uninstalled, restart, installed, restart, nothing works. It's been like this for so long! Neopet's shockwave games stopped working after awhile on my XP computer, and hasn't worked ever since I got my vista laptop.

 

I suppose you are using the latest version..

if yes then try an older version..you can get it here..

Disable auto updates from adobe as it will update to latest version if you install older one..

Clean your registry after uninstalling the current version..

You are using firefox right!!

They ALWAYS work in IE for me, and never in FF.
WTF

 

some games require some shockwave plugin that doesn't work on FF

so you have to switch to IE to play them

 

Screw that. I hate IE.
I'll try downgrading. I know it worked before.

 

I've had the same issue ever since I got my new laptop, meaning I downloaded a new version of Shockwave.

Switching to IE (which no one should be using in the first place) doesn't work for me.

So, I will go try downoading an older version of Shockwave like suggested above.

I'll edit with whether or not it works for me.

 

This took me forever to do this, it was only on certain games though i remember it wouldnt let me play gourmet club bowls or hatpc, i downloaded google chrome and it worked after that.

 

Well, downloading an older version (I went with 11.0.3.472, should I try a different one?) did not work.

I still can't play games like Hannah and the Pirate Caves and, like Harlow, Gourmet Club Bowls.

I will trying downloading Chrome next. That is, if it works with Window 7.

Nope, Google Chrome wouldn't allow me to play Shockwave games on Neopets either.
