UPDATE: Attention, all chatters! There is now a new "silencing" option in our infraction system. This means that if you break our chat rules you could have your communication privileges removed either temporarily or permanently. While you are silenced, you would not be able to post on the neoboards, send neomails, post on your guild, update your user lookup information, or communicate in any way with another player on the site. Normal warns, suspensions, and even freezes still apply to those who break the other rules - we just wanted a less harsh punishment for chat infractions. *nods and salutes* i love this rule finally trolls can have their chatting privileges removed!
Ahhh I do NOT like this rule. I get warned/sussed for breaking chat rules a lot, I'm probably gonna get silenced sooner or later. Let's just hope I won't get permanently silenced. (By the way, the title reminded me of Jeff Dunham's Achmed the dead terrorist SILENCE! I KEEL YOU!)
I wonder if they will do a 'IP-silence' thing. I mean, some trolls will continue trolling with their sides. If so, I hope TNT doesn't go around silencing innocent people like their icing rampage. I certainly don't want to be silenced without being able to let the people I'm talking to know what happened T_T
 I really like this new rule! Maybe people will think twice before losing a good opportunity to keep their mouths shut. And yeah, I mean the BD trolls.
Frankly, this is just a lesser form of suspending I see this as the same as a suspension, except you can now access your account while it's suspended (or silenced), and you can't get frozen from trollin' too much
ya but i think silencing is permanent when you get suspended you're back on in a few days when you're silence that account cant chat anymore ever
It can either be temporary or permanent. I like the new rule. I hate the neo-trendy people on AC and BDC.
