I am just seeking confirmation on this, I heard that the rare battledome items which stock(ed) at Smugglers cove, IE. Attack pea, Sloth hair gel etc. Only restock to the point at which 150 are in circulation on neopets, and once 150 are in circulation, that item no longer can be bought from the SC. Just wanted to know if this is true.
Tis true. Exact number has been said to be 200 although theres rumours only 100 sloth gels RS'd. All current cove items are maxed out either way so we'll have to wait for new ones before its worth going.
I never knew that Smuggler Cove items have limited restock. So, does that mean those items will retired once they reach their maximun restock??
correct thats why they can only ever go up in value. SuAP/AP will keep risng and rsiing as no more can ever be released.
Was just checking. I always keep several 200 dubloon coins on me in case new items are released at the SC.
Never bought anything from there but I remember my brother buying a Mystical Teapot of Doom when we still had Dial-Up XD
Absolutly true. Although SuAP was 250? Anyway, i know someone who bought a 'Mega Cabbage' but that's it o.o
Smuggler's Cove only stocks 200 of each item but I remember there was a day where 50 of each item that ever stocked was available. It was on The Neopian Times.
 SuAP was restocking there ages ago, they have all been bought out. I believe one of the items, possibly SuAP actually went up to 250 released because too many people got frozen with them or soemething like that... :?
Why TNT wants to limit the stock of Smuggler Cove items??? It's not fair for other people since the price of those items will only rise higher and higher with each passing of time.
Why is it fair that the Bugatti Veyron costs 5million pounds? Why is it fair that some paintings today sell for tens of millions? It is because these are the elite of the elite. If there was no item in the game worth 300,000,000 NP, what incentive would users have to keep playing? How is it fair upon the elite battledomers if every user can afford a super attack pea and there is no weapon to reflect the effort put into getting 700 strength with their pet? In essence, it is fair.
That's not to say new items with more value can't be released and decrease their value at a certain point in future.
Yeah, there's a place in Krawk Island called Dubloon-O-Matic where you can convert your dubloons but I think it's cheaper to buy it than convert it yourself.
