I couldn't find any updated soccer board, so I decided to create one for all of you who want to debate about this.

Right now I'm listening Boca Juniors-All Boys from Argentina First Division. Although not the greatest players are in the tournament I have to say that it's really challenging, and that no team have a clear advantage over the others.

It's not like Barcelona in Spain, who will clearly win the Spanish League, and it turns the whole thing a bit boring.

Anyway, post your teams and thoughts about Soccer!

I am not a soccer fanatic just a casual fan, with that said, Liverpool is the main team that I root for but I also like Tottenham for some odd reason. Anyways I'm from the US so I barely get to watch any soccer unless its a national tournament since its not televised on t.v. and US soccer teams aren't that great so no point watching. I did enjoy the US performance though in the soccer world cup the past summer, felt like they got a lot of recognition for their effort.

US soccer team has grown a lot in the last 20 years. Since their appearance in Italy '90, and the creation of a local league, they have only been improving their skills. I don't really know, but it seems that it's not one of the most popular sports in the US. Kids with sports skills usually go for football, basketball or baseball, and that makes it difficult for the sport to develop.

You guys don't seem to tolerate ties, do you? There's a Simpsons episode in which they laugh about that.

A funny thing is that in spanish soccer is called fĂștbol and football is called american football.

It's definitely not as big as it is in Europe and South America but it's slowly gaining recognition. Well in school, soccer is played during the fall, so kids have to choose american football or soccer if they choose to play sports...many kids choose to play american football rather than soccer as american football is one of the biggest sports here, to play and to watch.

I root for Columbus Crew in MLS for the presence of Guillermo Barros Schellotto in that team. He was part of one of the best teams of Boca Juniors ever.

A few weeks ago, they were saying that Boca Juniors could get a MLS franchise to have a team there. That would be great!
