Is it better to gravedig a thread or start a new thread about it? For example, I searched for a thread about Greedo and the last one is from like April and I didn't know whether to start a new thread of gravedig that one.
well, I would start the new one. cus then you end up getting message from Mod, saying "dont gravedig" it won't hurt if you put it in spam corner, that's what i do
Yeah that's what i've been wondering too. Wouldn't it save bandwidth space for trying to search for similar topics instead of starting new ones anyways? I mean as long as you have something insightful or non-spammy to say, wouldn't it be better to bring up old threads. But just to be safe you can start a new one for now and use whatever answer you get for future references :yup:
Well, some threads are revivable. But try not to revive threads that are very spammable and don't have a lot of relevant content. If its a specific question, its probably better to make a new thread. My consensus: 1. Search for your thread before making a new one 2. If you found your answer, done, don't do anything else 3. If you found a thread, but no answer, create a new thread 4. If you didn't find a thread, create a new thread. So as you can see, its generally not a good idea to bump an old thread. I'm sure you can find exceptions, but try to use good sense before doing so.
