First of all, I'd like to give a round of applause to Mr. J.J. Abrams. Hell, I'm not even a trek fan. I haven't seen one episode. I'm actually a die-hard Star Wars nerd but I enjoyed this movie SO much. I recommend anyone who wants to see a good movie, regardless if you are a Star Trek fan or not, to go see this movie. Was very enjoyable. I dare say I had more fun watching this movie than I did watching Star Wars: Episode II and III. (I, IV, V, VI are untouchable imo =P)
Thanks for the tip: I was considering going out tonight to watch it, but decided not to run the risk of meeting my history teacher (a big trek fan) at the theatre. :shudder: I'll probably go see it on the weekend.

no, you have to see it in theaters, downloading (probably cam quality) would be an insult to yourself and the movie
Kickass movie! I've never been a fan of Star Trek or even sci fi in general, but I totally enjoyed this. I'd even go as far as to call it one of the best movies I've ever seen.
Omg.. that was an excellent movie. I watched it from beginning to end without being bored . I love the cast.. especially Kirk and Spock. this is definitely an instant classic.

Because like I said, first of all if I'd ask any of my friends if they'd come with me to watch that movie they would just say no. And I would never go to the theaters alone. No fun in that. Plus, I don't feel like paying 6 euros for something I can see for free I'll just cope with the not experiencing it fully Only movie that ever convinced me to go to the theaters was Lord of the Rings.
the thing is i was embarrased by the fact that i was going to see star trek in theaters but it ened up being a good movie regardless of the nerdy feeling you feel.
OH MY JESUS!!!! this movie was soooo good!! even if you don't like star trek this movie is good xD and if you feel like a total nerd going to see star trek then buy a ticket to a different movie and convince yourself that its not star trek but some other movie xD but you have to see this movie. The actors they chose for the parts were perfect, they all fit the roles exactly. If i had to rate it i would give it a 5/5
Lol dude I don't care about being nerdy, but my friends do And I wouldn't want to go there alone, because that'd be.. Boring. But you have to admit that Lord of the Rings 1-2-3 are just the best movies ever.
