Im a very avid poker player. I go to the card rooms here in San Diego at least once a week and I make okay money. Now I know all the percentages to the hands and stuff. OBVIOUSLY, no matter what the best hand you can start out with is pocket aces(love that hand). You Always have a huge advantage before the flop. Now my boss does not believe me that it is the best hand. He says you should never go in with them. How the hell do I convince this guy. I feel like I've told him everything. And he won't budge. Any suggestions? Or do you think he just has really bad luck for them to lose each time. Thanks
tbh AA is rather crap hand, you either win small or lose big. for some reason QQ is my favourite or suited connectors. Every player has their own hands and if he dnt like AA then theres nothing you can do.
PRE flop, Pocket Aces is the best, since you can muscle people out and know you have the best at that time. However, for a hand to get you into the river atleast. I like having a hand such as Queen and 10 of diamonds. Or Queen and Jack of diamonds. A hand which up untill the river can become; A) A straight B) A flush C) 2 pair, 3 of a kind, full house etc. I just find having a hand like that at the start is the best in the long run (yes I do play poker a lot. I spend $$ on internet poker lol)
hey i cant stand playing AA or KK...i like to raise all in preflop when i get them and hope for the best
Wow, that's weird. I think his problem is that he bets too low and let others sneak into the pot. Anywho, it's probably just good that he thinks so. You'll win more money from him if he keeps believing that AA isn't the best pre-flop hand^^
