That's right i want to know the most boring, monotonous, monotonal books that you've read. I can definitely say that THE most boring book that i've read is crime and punishment which i guess is only rivaled by the dictionary and the bible.

Im assuming we can say textbooks :) Well I'm in a political science class right now, some of the topics that were discussing are very interesting such as rights and rebellion, but some topics in the book are quite boring such as pre world war I banking and etc. It's just too dry for me to web pay attention, I re read it like 4 times and I still can't pay attention.

Heh I remember being really bored by Robinson Crusoe when I was in middle school. The Old Man and the Sea by Hemmingway is SUPER boring. Can't even believe I finished it. Wanted to be "well read" or something. :p

We read it in class every day for a month. I hated it, so I reread the first chapter like four times.

Take that back about the Bible and textbooks, those are awesome!

While my pet complained about Uni Shoe Tales in two different languages, I agree with peachy, The Old Man and the Sea was pretty slow

Anything by Hemingway is incredibly boring Dx
I find a lot of the classics pretty monotonous... The Scarlet Letter was pretty bad, and I barely made it through Wuthering Heights. I like a lot of action in my books, I guess.

oh gosh I'd completely forgotten about Hemmingway!!! He put me to sleep with a couple pages no doubt, and for some reason Hemmingway reminded me of Steinbeck and grapes of wrath. Holy mother of Jesus was that book boooooring!!!

Of course textbooks are ridiculously boring. Haha if i was including textbooks in this i would definitely include all 3 of my econ books, my US history textbook, my World history textbook, and probably all of my math textbooks.

I had to read it in class every day for a month...

i had no interest in an old lady re-living her old memories.

I actually enjoyed that book! Or at least the no fear sparknotes version :D

I don't have many books that I'd say are boring just because if I don't care for it I tend to just not read it =P

I'm sure if we weren't forced to read them in school and then write book reports on them then half these books wouldn't be as boring :x

Instead of buying the books I bought sparknotes/cliffnotes instead, such a fail though when we had "open notebook" quizzes and also since I didn't know the stupid small details

Yeah that's why instead I just read the no fear sparknotes versions. The Scarlet Letter was so much easier in normal English XD
